So I got a bread maker for Christmas and its the best thing ever! No more buying bread at the store for this family I have been making my own ever since and its great because its so much healthier than eating all the preservatives in the store bought bread! I have made just a white loaf, wheat, cinnamon, and cranberry loaf. The cranberry loaf is really good and it goes fast! Lil R loves it and eats it right up! My next one I am going to try and make is a chocolate one I think it would be good not really healthy but tasty! My sister and brother in-law have been in competition because they got a dutch oven and have been making their own as well. I am partial to mine only because i made it and he is partial to his because he made it! my hubby eats anything so he is out of being a judge and its my sister and mom that judge it. Its all great bread and who doesn't like to eat bread! cant wait to make a loaf today!

So it's been crazy busy around this house so Its been about year since i blogged last and I am going to start this back up again. Robbie is almost 2 and Anthony will be 1 in June. Wow does this go fast and its sad because they are getting so big so fast and I just hate how time goes by like that. I am lucky to be able to work part time and be able to raise my kids and see them grow up. My life has changed alot from having two really scary pregnancies and then a blood clot in my lung. To be on this earth where I almost lost my life a three times means someone really wants me to stay around just a little bit longer. So i know there is something out there for me to accomplish and i am not sure what it is but i will be doing it. I know being a mother to my 2 wonderful boys is one of the things and i am obviously doing that so we will just wait and see what life will bring to the plate next......

i know its been been a long time since i updated this thing but we have been busy. it was christmas and then new years and now things have slowed down a little. I have been really tired with this new baby then i was with robbie but it is prally becuase i am chasing my son all over the place. he is not yet walking yet but he is close so we will see when he does it. robbie's christmas was good it was fun he didnt know what was going on but it was cute to watch him look and play with each toy he got. yesterday we went to the sandbox with my friend heather and her daughter it was so much fun. robbie played and it will even be more fun when he gets older and can walk around. well thats it for now......

I love the holidays and I cant wait for thursday! We painted the whole downstairs and cleaned out a ton of stuff. Now we just have to get the basement ready and set the tables and get all the odd and ends ready for the day. We have 30 people coming so it will be fun! Then friday me and my sister in-law will go shopping at 5am we started that last year and i hope we keep it a tradition every year!!! We love doing that and you get good deals so its worth it if you can deal with the people! Then my husband and I will go to syracuse later that afternoon to see my husbands family. Then it will be back to work and counting down the days till christmas! I cant wait for my son to have his first christmas it will be so much fun! He is getting so big he has his two teeth coming in and he is just growing like a weed! Well his is waking up from his nap so that means i have to go but i will be back soon!

so we are painting our house now. We finished the bathroom and now the kitchen and this weekend i am doing the hallway and the living room! lots of work to be done! its fun though because it looks so different. this house has been the same since my mom and dad moved in. I mean my dad did paint like 10 years ago while my mom and us girls were in florida but we came home to see that he did the same paint color as before! I was laughing about it because its just so funny that he would paint with my brother while we were away and not do some bold colors or something for us to go wow! I love my daddy for that because it makes my job easier painting over white!!!! Well so this will be it for a little while.... night night.

so my son is getting bigger and bigger every day! he will be eight months tomorrow and i cant even believe the time has gone by that fast. I am so lucky to have him here with me and a husband that loves us both. I get to be home with my son and when i do work my mom watches him which is nice because we don't need to pay for day care and anyone with kids knows how $$$$ that can be! So i just think of being eight months pregers and its just crazy that i was just getting ready to have this little bundle of joy! my son is getting his first tooth in! No one bet on this one though but if they did i think i would have won because I was saying this time anyway seeing as us dental people learned tooth eruption! Well that's it for now!

so this Halloween was fun because i got to dress up my son! yes this is the truth i still trick or treat. some might think its not right but i always feel if you dress up and not just a shirt but all out dress up you should get candy! I get this from my daddy because he always dressed up and did every year! so my husband and i dress up and it is fun every year. This year we were shrek Rob was shrek i was fiona and robbie was dronkey! It was very cute and we had a ton of fun. I got over 300 pieces of candy! yes thats 300! we froze it though and its not gone yet lol! so my cousins that i take every year came over with my uncle and we all went out then i went to my sisters and then brothers then finally to my aunts b/c it was her b-day and my cousin celebrated hers to. This has been a tradition for ever in my life. On Halloween we would go around our block then over to my aunts all of us cousins would be dressed up and it was fun. So here are some photos of our night!

so I put up some pictures in there the vary from the start of oct. to the end. We went to a apple farm with my sister/brother in-law, our friends rob/jill, and us. It was fun and there are some pictures from when rob and I as a family went to a apple farm! Also there are pictures from when robbie got to pick out his first pumpkin! I have been on a field trip with my lil cousins class we went to a pumpkin farm and that was nice cold but fun so more pics of that.....also we went to the corning museum of glass with my mom, grandma, sister/brother in-law (my hubby was out of town). side story while we were there a Chinese man came up to me didn't speak English just pointed at my son and then his camera he wanted to take a photo of him while he was sleeping. well anyone of you who knows me knows i said no covered my son with my sisters jacket and ran! what is wrong with people don't take a photo of someone you don't know....its weird in my eyes i guess or i am the weird one!! I think that is about all of the photos i have up for now.....enjoy looking!

So i have been in lala land i guess the past few weeks.....Ive been sick, baby was sick, then we were sick again and then working and just plain old busy! But who cares about that since the last time i was on here robbie is moving more and more. My mom gave him his own lil cupboard with all his plastic ware to play with! He is so cute with it because while im cooking there he is juts playing with his plates and cups! He gets up the step in 2 sec now which is good and bad because there is no time to just sit and relax its always follow that little baby. When i baby sit my cousins I hold him or put him in his seat because of the stairs (thinking of getting a gate for her house though would be a ton easier!) Other than that lets see i fixed up my downstairs bathroom..new paint new light and it looks a ton better! My hubby is working on the basement ceiling and trying to finish that because thanksgiving! Then more cleaning and getting the house ready because before we know it it will be here! well I am putting up some new photo so take a look!

So I have been doing some cooking. I have made chicken noodle soup and today I made some lemon pudding and homemade wheat bread. The lemon pudding came about because it sounded good and I wanted my son to try it. He def. has my taste buds along with both of his grandpas. My dad loved lemon meringue pie and so does robs dad. There he was eyeing the pudding and then once he tasted it he was talking well what he does for talking loud so i would give him more. He was crazy about it. So I know he will be dreaming of that tonight! The bread came from my great grandmas recipe that I wanted to try to make. So in the store I told my mom and she looked at me like okay but I don't think you can do it tonight. Little did I know that it takes a long time but thats because reading the directions came after I started to make it. My great grandma probably made white bread but i had wheat flour and decided to try it. So there I was 5lbs of flour mixing up to my elbows son screaming and I couldn't get him this is why my hubby needs to come home. I did manage to get through it though 5 hours later hahaha. There are 3 rising processes to it: first 1hour then kneed next 1/2hour then roll out 5 pieces last put in bread pans and rise 1hour then bake 1hour. So its in the oven now and smells so good. I'll let you know how it turns out! I love making things homemade ! Side note is that I had to get something out of the fridge and I left it open with my son on the floor in the kitchen and there he went to the fridge and climbed in....omg he is hell on wheels just going every where and getting into anything he can! take a look...I did add a few new ones to the album to!

So today I was a little moody and I felt bad because I was taking it out on my mother! I just havnt slept well in three days and then I have been going every day since 8am. So all I want to say is that I just love my mommy so much! I am so lucky to be living with her! I love living in the house i grew up in and having my family grow up and old in it to!!! My mom helps me and my husband out so much. She helps me so much with the baby which is such a big help because when I don't feel well she is there to help. The other night I was so sick and there she was 3am and 5am helping me with my son giving him a bottle and telling me to go back to bed! I love her so much for that and it helps me out so much. She also babysits our son the days I work which once again helps me keep our son out of child day care which is $$$. I love living with her because I hate being home alone and so I have her when my hubby isn't home! I am so lucky to be close enough to my mom that she wants us to be here with her. I love her so much and I am so happy to be in her house living there and keeping each other company! I love you mom!

So if my son is not sick then he must just feel bad for me. My throat now hurts and my tummy is still a little yucky but i am a ton better. So my sleeping has not been so great the last three nights which is funny because once i do fall asleep 1am (which anyone who knows me 9 or 10 is my bedtime) then my son starts to cry. So I give it a minute and hope and pray he finds his passey but nope he wants his mommy so i go and take him in my bed and lay with him. He falls asleep i put him in his room and then one hour later the same thing and then finally a bottle. So I am not sure if he misses his daddy or he doesn't feel well which i know he has a little cold but whatever it is i hope it goes back to the old way of him going to bed at 10 and waking at 9am.

So this weekend we went to my in-laws and we had a wedding on sat. Then we had to come back home that night because my hubby has a business trip. We got in at 1130pm and he left at 12am for his trip. I felt bad but I was having so much fun at the wedding and we ate late so when we looked at the clock and it said 9pm we tried to leave but you know our goodbyes take forever! anyways it all worked out. It was nice that my mother in-law watched the baby because that gave them time with our son! Now im making chicken noodle soup and trying to get motivated to do somethings around the house. We are having thanksgiving at our house this year so that means a lot of cleaning for me to get done! well so much for now take a look at my new pics!

So my son is now crawling yes if you didn't already know I won that bet! He started that Sunday that we got home from our vacation so now he is going all over the place and pulling him self up to stand. So I am right there following him trying to catch his fall! He is a cutie with a bruise on his forehead because he fell...welcome to mommy hood is what i call it. He is a tough boy though because he doesn't really cry unless he really gets hurts like when he was standing in his crib and he must have hit his head and i hear him screaming...all i have to say is he is keeping me busy now! He is down to taking a morning nap and then going to bed early and sleeping in which is nice! but i have learned that he will do what he wants when he wants to! I cant wait to take him apple picking and then to get his first pumpkin! Awww this is so much fun having a little baby! oh and his eye that had the clog tear duct finally cleared up while we were in Hilton head. It got really bad in florida one day and then the next day gone no more yucky eye!

so we are back home! the vacation was great Florida was fun and seeing the family is always a great thing! Staying with my cousin mike and his kids is always a great time! Robbie loved April and had so much fun playing with her and he loved Matt as well. Matt is 6ft yes that is right and is only a freshman so Robbie would just stare at how tall he was it was cute! We all went swimming and had races it was sooo much fun! We also played ping pong which i love now and i did improve before i left! I want to get a table so i can get better before i go back! We went to my cousin Kathy's house and saw her grandson who is 1 year and he was so cute. When collin saw robbie he went over and gave him a hug it was adorable. We got to have aunt lala and grandma's chicken with great potato's from aunt rita! Then another night we got uncle Mauro's famous pizza which was sooo good Matt tried to tell him it was cold but he laughed and said eat it! I made my crab dip well grandpa's recipe but anyways i cut my thumb thought i cut it off due to the bleeding because it didn't hurt until the next day! Rob and I went to my grandma's old house well land now because their house was torn down because of the hurricane. We went there because i always try to go when i am in Florida to see the land. We had so many memories there it is sad that my son wont have any there but he will know where it is. We went to the fruit stand by their house that always has great stuff you can see the pictures. Before we left for Hilton Head we went to matt's cross-country race. It was great to see because it reminded me of when i ran. I felt bad though because they run in heat and that must be really hard. After his race we packed up say our good byes and off the HHI we went. It was beautiful there and I felt bad that my grandma, lala, Mauro and rita couldn't come. It was so nice our place was so big Robbie even got his own room! Our view was so great and it was so relaxing. We went to the beach, pool, rented bikes, golfed, and shopping! On the beach deck they had beer n bucket night. yes beers and buckets of shrimp and crab and omg was it ever good! Also there is this pizza shop that had an amazing meatball wedgie they call it is like a calzone but not as doughy. I want one right now hahah can you tell that i am the biggest food lover ever! It was fun and I cant wait to go back for easter! It will be nice because my brother and sister will be there and there will be more things for all of us to do! well back to laundry and cleaning. I posted some pictures of our trip so enjoy!

so we are in the sunny state just enjoying ourselfs.....robs working and im just hanging out going to the malls swimming at night and we went to the light house. Its 90 out and to hot for the baby so its hard for me to sit out and get some son. in HH i am planning to sit out because my hubby wont be working and i will have someone to lay out with! we went to a mall that is where all the celberties go when they are here it is very nice but you can only look unless you have millions to spend.! so we went and looked and of course we went to janie and jack and they had a sale so grandma got robbie 2 outfits....thats our fav store! today another mall tomorrow my hubby and i are going to where my grandma use to live and then friday sitting in the sun and going to have uncle mauros hoemmade pizza!! so we are busy and having a ton of fun! the baby is good tired but good and i took him swimming last night and he loved being in the pool at night! the water is 92 so he thinks its just a big bath! well enough for now talk to you all later...i put up some pics because my sister has been waiting to see the baby because he is now sitting up! we got in sat morning and we went to aunt ritas and there he was getting him self up and now its just so easy for him to! and this morning he got up on his knees in the crib waiting for us to get him out of bed! he is getting big!

SO before i leave on vacation i wanted to let you know my son went to the doctors and weights 17lb and his height is 27inches. He is healthy and got his 3 shots and the first one he didn't even cry because he was laughing then the next two he looked at me and started screaming! didn't do as well as heathers little girl but did good for what he usually does! Well so long for now i will try to update down in the sunny side but who knows if i will....well i know my sister wants to see my son because i got him new shades...check them out! Today my baby is 6 months and I cant even hardly believe it. 1/2 year old its crazy hmmm He may need a present. He is getting so big and its like every day he is growing more and more. Ill let you know his weight and height we go to the drs Wednesday so place your bets hahaha So this weekend was okay it went by fast. Friday after i babysat my hubby didn't get home till 8ish so then we just ate dinner and watched tv. I finished my book "second chance" and then he got me addicted to mafia wars on myspace hence i didn't go to bed till 2am its a very bad addiction lol. Then sat i decided to make sauce. It was so yummy and i made a ton so i froze it so that the next time we have pasta i have it. Also i decided that i will make it homemade from now on because its easy and good. Sunday my hubby worked so it was just me and the babe hanging out all day together then to my aunts for my cousins b-day party. Today and Wed I babysit and Thursday work then off to Florida on Friday which i am so excited for! So I need to pack, get some cloths for me and the baby for the trip and get everything ready plus my hubby needs to put a hitch on my car. nothing like waiting for the last minute which i don't get in some men because we got it like 3 weeks ago...i think he likes to get my bp up. Then jackson needs to be brought to my in-laws so that he has a place to stay and if not there i have no clue where we will leave him I might make some calls today but no kennels because i could never do that to my puppy. well i will post some pictures later today probably tonight. thats it for now!

So I posted new photos in the august and now the sept. album. I cant believe that it is September already! It is crazy how fast summer went by and now fall is here. Well I start teaching this week and I started babysitting 2 days a week for my cousin. She has 4 kids and I love to do it because it helps her out and I can be with the baby and my cousins so it works out for us all! 2 are in school and then I have the other 2 till the other ones come home. It was fun yesterday the girls love Robbie and all they do is want to play with him and it will be nice to have him there with little kids! Well so long for right now! ohh yea i cant wait for Florida!!!!!!!!!

So for labor day weekend it was good. We went to my in-laws on Sat night and then Sunday drove up north to my hubby's hunting land and then up to his family camp for the picnic. It was fun and everyone got to see Robbie so that was good but there was no mac and cheese. I always love their homemade mac and cheese even though i make it once fall hits but I just always look forward to that the most. I love homemade mac and cheese its just sooooo good my aunt Margie also makes a really good one to that I love. Anyways off the food, then on our way home we stopped to see rob's aunt Glenda. When we go up there I love to stop by to see them because we don't see them that often. Rob's cousin was there with her son and it was so cute. He was getting all his cars and bringing them to Robbie one by one it was soooo cute. Then got the mega blocks and played with those then was crawling trying to get the babe to do the same. It was cute and I am so glad we got to see them! Then we got home around 12ish and the next day I let Rob sleep in and Robbie and I went for a walk with my mom and sister and then I was suppose to go golfing with my grandma but she ended staying at my aunts cottage longer so rob and I did lawn work. It was good because we needed to get it done before we leave for Florida. Then we went to the pool for it was the last day it was open which is sad because Robbie loved going in but next summer will be good because he will be older and will like it more I hope. That was our weekend in a nut shell! Now to the pictures that I will post but for now to the baby he is crying for his mommy!

Labor day weekend...starting out????

starting out great but all i hear is my husband yelling at me because I am moving to slow and not ready to go so....here is a few things before I am gone till monday.....So this weekend we are going to my in-laws today, up north Sunday to see my hubby's hunting land then to a family picnic, then home Sunday night so that I can go golfing Monday! My husband will meet me there with the babe so I can take him swimming before the pool closes for the season. We will then eat there because they have a great picnic on the holiday's! Then home for a movie possibly but who knows! This morning/afternoon we just hung out the 3 of us because we haven't had a weekend were we can just relax yet this summer and funny how its almost over! Thats what a big family and kids of your own does to you! Thats fine with me because i would rather have it being busy with family then have nothing to do and no one to do it with plus in the end family is who you end up with!! Two more weeks and we are headed down to fl. and I cant wait because i am going to take Robbie swimming everyday. Well and he will have to go shopping to but he doesn't mind that just as long as i get him something. Well I am off to pack and get ready for this long weekend! Ill post pictures of the weekend when i get back! I put some new ones up so take a look!

So I am on a new kick I am getting glass bottled milk for my family! I like the way it tastes yea its like a dollar if that more then wegmans milk but its not watered down so it fills you more than the other stuff. It's better because it doesn't have the chemicals that the plastic has. That's why I use glass baby bottles to! It's better for the environmentjavascript:void(0)

so my son is now learning the start of crawling!!!! He doesn't have it yet but soon he will! He gets his knees under him and then moves back and forth but doesn't get how to move one knee then the other and the arms to. It is cute to watch him try though because he gets frustrated and then just wales his arms and legs up and down like he is swimming! Well its okay if he doesn't crawl just yet because then I will be chasing him all over the house. I am starting to baby proof the house now because he will soon be by stairs and that just scars me. I don't want him to hurt himself at all so I am getting gates and the outlet plugs and well you get the point all of the baby proof things. He gets into everything just laying there on his blanket he rolls off and there he is right into the whatever is on the floor next to him so that means i have to vacuum everyday and make sure before I put him down there is nothing small that will get into his little mouth. It is scary now because all he does is puts everything in that little mouth because he doesn't know any better! This just means my eyes are on him the whole time he is on that floor!!!! well I will try and post a video of him moving his little tush but I don't know if it will go but look at a few new pics I put up!

So on Monday I went to the zoo with my friend H and her two kids and that was a ton of fun. I love going to zoo's and aquariums so it was a great day a little to hot but it was fine. Then I came home and went with my husband to his test and later find out that "better luck next time" is what they said and so I support him and said you did great because he trained hard these last 3 weeks so now we just work at it for Oct and the spring! Today I went to the pool with my sister in-law it was so much fun to have the baby at the pool he loves water so he was just kicking while he was in there! I cant wait to take him to FL. (3 more weeks) because we will be at the pool everyday. This weekend is going to be hard its my dads 2 year anv. since he past away so we are just spending it with my family and trying to make the best of it so i know i wont be back on here to update till after the weekend. Well jewelry party tonight so i better go get ready! I'll put up pics when I have a little more time.

So it's almost two years now that my dad has been gone and it still feels like it was yesterday! I just remember that Wednesday I left work and was heading to the apt to get ready for our softball game and then I get the phone call to hurry to my house. I knew something was wrong because I called my husband to tell him I was going to be late and was ranting and raving about it but he was like just go home don't worry. I then was speeding home and calling my mom sister and dads cell phone. Then I get home to my aunt on my deck and I was like what is going on silly me though rob was going to ask me to marry him but no the worst news of my life. I fell to the floor in my kitchen and just screamed I wanted to run away I wanted to go back to that 4pm while I was still at work and happy. Yes I know it is a part of life and I know everyone deals with this someday but I was 23 when I lost my daddy and I am 25 now married with a baby. Death is a different experience for everyone but the void in the heart is the same. My dad missed a lot of important things these past two years marriages and babies. The thing that gets me is my son or my other kids I will eventually have will never meet him. He would have been such a great grandpa and I just wish he was here to be a grandpa. Its such a hard time right now and the tears are just coming at any giving time of the day. :-(

So Friday night I made dinner and my husband mowed the lawn. I then ate with out him because he was on the phone and the baby gives me like a little window to eat before he fusses so by the time my husbands "hold on one min ill be right in" phone call was done he came in and ate by himself. Then we walked to my sisters with my hubby pushing the stroller and me with jackson in one hand and a lemon-aid mixer in my other! It was such a great walk because it was cool out and the sky was soooo clear you could see all the stars! We watched the Olympics and then walked home! Saturday I sold a couple things on craigs list (I'm addicted now...my new job) went to the farmers market and came home to my brother and sister in-law! We sat with them and hung out for a little while. Later that night I made some homemade pickles. I love making pickles and the ones i made were my aunts new recipe and boy are they yummy doubt they will last the week! Today we are being a bit lazy. I cooked all morning made zucchini and tomato's, beet salad, and just some tomato and onion! Yummy! I love cooking it relaxes me and boy do i need that. My husband is working out for the last time before his test tomorrow so I'm very nervous for him! I just cant wait till I get his phone call tomorrow night after he finishes to hear how he does. I hope he does great well i dont care how he does just as long as he passes it! Now me and the babe are having some quite time before daddy gets here! new pictures will be on here today at some point so have fun looking!

So my mom, Robbie, and I walked down to the market this morning and met my sister. We got our fruits and vegis for the week! Robbie had a great time for a 5month old. so I have been trying to sit the baby up more so he can teach himself to sit up! He is doing okay but I have to hold on to him so that he doesn't fall right over or put pillows all around him so he doesn't bump his head! It's funny to watch him because he discovered his feet like 3 weeks ago and he just loves them. He looks at them and puts them to his mouth!!! It's so cute to just watch him look at them like what are these things! It's also cute when I am feeding him his night time bottle and daddy walks in and he just smiles like wow where have you been all day! I just smile because he just looks so happy! I love babies because they have no worries...no one can be mean to him, no one can make fun of him and if they do that is their own problem, he doesn't feel unwanted or insecure. I just wish he would feel like that his whole life!

....the trip began by leaving Friday night going to my in-laws in cuse staying there so that were that 1 hour closer to nyc! My in-laws were in Ohio so it stinks that we didn't get to see them but they probably were happy because Robbie didn't sleep at all. He was up crying all night long and I am not sure if it was the new surrounding or that he is teething. So after we only got 3 hours of sleep we go up at 5 and got ready and left for NYC. We arrived in the big apple around 1130. It was great and the parking was good to because we were there really early. The gates didn't open till 1230 so we got all ready and then walked around a little bit! Then we went in and tried to wait in line for monument park but oh wow that was like a 5 hour line and we were not even going to make it in because they close it once the game starts. So we walked around got some beer and just chilled out. Then after the rain stopped we took are seats and waited for the old timers game to start. Robbie didn't like the clapping and yelling every time he would scream so loud but your couldn't even hear him! finally he fell asleep but then once the game started he woke up! I then help him because he was just not having the whole everyone scream when something happens. So I rocked him and he then discovered there was a girl sitting behind us that he could flirt with so that was good because it entertained him for a good 15 min. then back to the crying. So I walked him down and just stood at the opening to the stairs that go to our seats. There was another guy standing there with a 6 month old and it was funny because everyone that walked by said "twins" so the guy finally starts to tell people no "angles" because duh thats who we were playing it was funny! Then rob came down and we walked the whole stadium which was nice. Finally Yankees win, we meet up with jeff and randy talk to them for a little bit which was nice to see them, and then it was back to Rochester. We pulled in around 230am! It was a great trip and I am so happy that we did it because Robbie will have tons of pictures to remember this day in the old Yankee stadium! I cant wait to go to another game! check out the photo album there will be all the pics!

I love bath time with my son! I remember the first time we did his bath time and he screamed because he didn't like it but now he loves his baths! He kicks his feet in the water and loves getting his head shampooed! I cant wait till he is older and he plays with his toys that we have! So this weekend Rob and I and the little one are off the nyc to see the Yankees for the last old timers game in the old stadium! I am excited because it will be our last time at the old stadium and my little man's first and last time there! You know we will be filling up the camera for his memory book because he wont even remember but even funnier he probably wont even like the Yankees. Just like my brother didn't like my dads team and my husband doesn't like his dads team. Now I am just trying to plan on where to stay.

So the other week we got robs test results for the city police exam...my hopes were down i didn't think he would get called to take the physical test but yesterday we got home and he got a letter in the mail and yes in aug he goes for his physical test! so i am going to keep my fingers crossed and hope he makes it because this is something he has wanted to do and I know he would make a great cop. I am hoping that this all goes good and that maybe he will become a police officer some day!

So we went away this weekend up to Carthage, Schroon lake and then Lake Placid! We had a really good time. Up in Carthage we got to see robs aunt and uncle and cousins. His one cousin just got home from Iraq so it was nice to see him. It was great to visit with all of them and the weather was nice so it was great! Then we left and headed to Schroon lake but we stopped first to see his grandma and got to spend some time with her. Then off to the lake! We got there around 11 and unpacked got the baby in his new Yankee PJ's and then relaxed! Rob woke up around 530am to go fishing with Zak and Micheal (i slept in a little bit with the babe). Then Saturday was a lazy day we didn't really do much just sat around went swimming in the lake and took my first jet ski ride! It was fun but i held on for dear life!!!! Saturday night we played a game and it was fun! Heather was telling us the rules and how to play and there was little Robbie looking at her the only one paying attention and it was funny...you had to be there! Then Sunday we headed home but rob and i went to lake placid to look around. He had never been there for sight seeing and i was there when i was younger so we decided why not take Robbie he will enjoy it (hahaha he wont even remember) So we walked around, took to chair lift up to the top of the ski mounting(YES i was so paranoid about the baby going all the way up there i made rob hold him so tight he was in the baby Bjorn so that was a good thing) then we went to the skating rink! So over all the weekend was great! I love it up in schroon lake its so peaceful and relaxing! now I have to get back for the not so fun stuff unpacking, laundry, and cleaning! to look at my photos i put them in a photo album so go to this link to see our weekend vacation!

okay so this morning my son was in his crib just playing with a toy we have hung on the side of his crib! It startled me because i heard a noise and thought it was someone in our house. so i went out in the hall way and peaked in my sons room and to my suprose there was my son playing! He was talking away and batting at his toy!!!! So i ran and got my camera and video taped him and took some pics! Now he is rolling over like a champ....he learned it yesterday and thats all he wants to do now. While packing i had him up on my floor and there he went rolled over and over and made it under my bed...not all the way but the start of it!!! i cant leave him on the floor in my room anymore! My mom warned me about it but i thought he was not ready to move like that but ohhh no he is! I'll warn my hubby so he doesn't leave him alone or on the floor without our undivided attention! It is so nice to see my son growing though it's exciting! Here are some photos of him this morning in his bed just playing! I've been trying to upload a video for days now and it seems so slow and will never upload. I left it on the other day for 1/2 hour and still nothing. I'm trying to get the one of Robbie rolling over but its just not happening. I'm annoyed. Well I am trying this last time and then I will try again another day! Its take 20 min now...I'm very impatient but i keep watching the amount it has left and its almost done so i will just keep on waiting!

here are a few pictures while we wait. My son sleeps like me but he looks a lot cuter because well he is a baby and a lot cuter than i am! His eye is red because it has a clogged tear duct so it gets all yucky and then red. Some days it looks good others not so good. I know it is probably normal but I may still take him to the doctors just to be sure.

so yes this morning my little man rolled over back to front. I was jumping up and down. I could see he was trying so hard the past few days and i would help him roll over so this morning i just let him try and try and there he went. So we did a little boot camp and he did it like 5 times in a row. He looks so cute doing it because he tries and tries and then bam he kicks his little foot and he is over! its so exciting!

My son is growing up so fast....everyone tells you enjoy the moment because you will blink and there he is 1yrs old. well they are all right I look at my son and almost 5months now and wow i just remember when he was 1 hour old so tiny slept all day and all i would say is "i cant wait till he is up all day..." well it is nice that he only takes like 2 naps now but i enjoyed the time that he slept more because i got to rest as well. Now he is up almost all day he takes a nap after breakfast and then an afternoon nap then down at like 730! Its great but he did get big way to fast and soon he will be 1/2year old omg thats just to crazy to even think about. well anyways ill get you to the pictures of my cute little love bug!

So my son got baptized and I was so proud of him b/c he didn't cry all mass the only time was the oil part but it was one little cry and that was it. So the other night Lil R started rolling over a ton and I was thinking we should move his mattress down so he wont fall out. Well we decided that we will do it another day because it was 11pm when I wanted to move it down so I was okay with that. That night he started crying bad at 330am I ran in to find him flipped on his back facing the other direction that he was laying when i put him down and his head had hit the side of the crib. He was okay but I was not I was up the rest of the night worrying about my baby. So the next day I put the mattress as low as it goes and we both slept a ton better. I did go in at 3am and his leg was hanging out the side I was just thinking to myself omg thank god i put you lower to the floor. My lil R is so cute though he is smiling more and starting to coo!!!! Its great being a mother!

So my sister got married and it was a great wedding. I think I was crying all day it was very emotional for me and then when I had to give the speech I lost it! I am so excited she is married now and my new brother in-law is great! After the wedding my sister and her husband went on their honeymoon and my mom and I went over to clean their house. They bought a house and closed on it right before the wedding so they had no time to clean. My sister wanted to move in when they got home so we went over and cleaned the whole downstairs and the upstairs bathroom. It took us all day and then we came home and crashed. So that night we rent P.S. I Love You. Lets just say I went threw a whole box of Kleenex. Then we rented 27 dresses the next night and it was okay not the best movie I have ever seen. It was a mom and me night for 2 nights while big r went to baseball. Well now I'm off to help my sister move!!!!!

Jackson is getting so fat. I picked him up the other day and ohhh boy he needs a diet. well I should be walking him more I feel guilty when i look outside and see all these other dog owners walking their dog and theres jackson looking at them through the deck bars wishing he was walking. So last night R and I took him for a long walk and then R took him in the field to through the ball with him. He was so tired out when he came in he just passed out for the night. So I will be walking him more not only to get him in shape but to get me in shape. Also I used the baby Bjorn carrier and baby r usually hates it because he doesn't like his legs separated but he liked it last night. He feel right asleep!

This weekend has been great! We have relaxed and did some work around the house and relaxed more. We cleaned out the garage a little bit, did some cleaning inside, laundry, and had some cook outs. Friday we ate left overs, sat. we cooked ribs they were so yummy, and tonight we had my sister and brother over for a cook out. It was great to just hang out and not have to rush home because of work the next morning. R, baby R, jackson, and I took a drive today which was fun. We went so aurora and then drove on the Montezuma which was cool. It was my first time on that we always drive by it on the thruway but never go to it. I got a little restless because you can only do 15 mph but it was fun to see all the wild life. Tomorrow I am going to get my new camera so I will be sure to post some new pics. Baby R is getting so big everyday he is growing more and more! I cant wait to get my new van I hope it will be next week! I know everyone thinks I am crazy but it will be better for the baby and jackson to fit in on those car rides we take. Plus we are planning on going to maine in the fall and then Hilton Head in the spring so it will be a ton better for those long road trips!

I'm bad with writing on here because I never take the time to sit down and just write. Well I'll update you on a few things. Working just one day a week has been great. It gets me out of the house and brings in a little money on the side! I also have been working at my friends consignment shop and thats been fun because I bring baby R. We bought a van. Mazda MPV I like it we needed a new car anyways and why not invest in one that we will need down the road anyways. It's smaller than most vans so I like it. I think we are getting it next week some time and I cant wait. We test drove it with baby R and he feel right asleep so we know he likes it. HAHA he falls asleep in any moving car! Well tonight I'm making some ribs and mac salad so I have to go start to cook I'll up date more later!

crazy busy weekend

So this weekend was busy. Friday night we had our baptismal class which went really well very short and to the point. The couple that lead the class were young and really made the class go by fast. So now we are just going to get that scheduled for some time in June! Then Saturday my sister in-law came in to see baby R for the first time so that was exciting. She left late afternoon and R and I went to get a few golf clubs off craigs list and then rented Charlie Wilson's War. He made me dinner and baby R went down to bed and we just watched the movie and relaxed! The movie was good from what I saw (fell asleep b/c it was past my bed time). Then Sunday we went to Syracuse for the open house. A few of R's aunts came to see the baby and we came home late afternoon. So now I am just writing a few thank you notes and trying to clean my room a little bit and get caught up. Well baby R needs me...

Today baby R and I are just being lazy. I am going to make some banana bread and clean up the house a little bit. I think I may call our friends that had twins right before baby R and see if she wants to do a play date! Tonight we have to go to a baptismal class for the baby. It's only 1 1/2 hours which isn't to bad. R doesn't want to go but he hated our marriage and baby classes but he did them. He is a good sport through them because he knows it's just something that we have to do. I want my baby R to have a religion and not grow up without one. I think it would be difficult to have him decide what he wants to be when he grows up. So tonight my sister and soon to be brother in-law will be babysitting the little stink pot!

So this week was crazy busy. I worked Tues. Wed and Thurs. and I am so tired. It was 2 half days at the school and one full day in an office. It made my week go by fast but not working did the same to. It was good to go back but I know that I can only work 2 days a week any more I will run myself down. I missed the baby so much when I left him on Wed for the full day. I am so lucky the office was literally 4 min away because on lunch i came home and got the full hour to see him and thankfully he was wide awake! I also am so lucky to have my mom willing and wanting to watch the babe because it would have been really hard to leave him with a stranger. I know he is in great care with my mom. When they are this young they cant fend for themselves and you don't want them to be ignored at all. Well, he is really smiling a lot more and starting to coo. Its so exciting to watch him develop day after day!

Today was the first day since we had our son that we had a lunch date with daddy! It was fun we went to this great sub shop down the street from his work. Robbie just sat there and looked at us eat because well he is only 2 months and cant do much but stare at us, laugh, cry, mess his diap diap, roll over, and thats about it. It brought back so many memories of when I was little and would go to mid town to meet my dad for lunch with my mom. I miss those times so much. So yea today is a lil hard for whatever reason I am just missing my dad so much. I wish my son would have been able to meet him. I know he would have been such a great grandpa and I just wish he was here with us ;-( Well on that note I'm going to see my sister for a little bit.

So it was my first mothers day! It was a great day we woke up early took a drive to 'cuse saw my in-laws then back home to cook dinner for my mom then finally to end the night to my aunts to see my grandma! busy day but it was a great one just hanging out with my husband and son and then the family later on in the day! My husband and son got me and arm band for my nano and then we are getting a digital camera that will be both my mothers day and his fathers day gift! I was looking at my son yesterday and realized how much different he looks. He got 4 shots last Thursday so I think it made him grow up a little.....I am not looking forward to his apt. in July because then he gets 5 and he hates them. I def. will be giving the Tylenol right after or maybe even before. I wish he was old enough to give him a big ice cream sundae to make him feel better!

Thanks to my best friend Heather who created this for me I will now be able to blog about the baby and other things on here! And I can call her my best friend because I will always keep in touch with her even though I left her in the office all by her self! First I'll start by saying I've been married one year this past April and we already have a wonderful baby son Robert James who is 2 months old! He came 3 weeks early but was well worth all the stress we went through. I love being a mom/wife it's definitely different and your world changes a lot. Things are put into perspective and you know what to worry about and what problems to let go of. After my dad passed away almost 2 years now :-( I thought I knew not to sweat the small stuff but now I know that life is way to short to let the little small stuff bother you. I just enjoy my husband, son, and family while I still have them all! My son is already getting bigger each day. He went to the doctors on Thursday and weight 11lbs and 14oz. We took bets and my uncle guessed it right on the dot. His prize should have been having him over night the same day because wow 4 shots in a lil baby does a number on him! Here is a video of my son rolling over....yes he is growing way to fast for me!
